Angie Avery

Angie Avery is the Vice President of Legal Affairs for Tharaldson Hospitality Management, where she focuses on risk management and supporting the human resources team to enhance the employee experience.

Angie earned a BA in English from University of Mississippi and a JD from University of Colorado. Before joining THM, she served as Director of Sales and Marketing for Avery Brewing Company in Boulder, Colorado, her family’s brewery, and held several roles over 15+ years with the University of Mississippi Foundation, raising critical academic funding. She also served as Executive Director of the Oxford Humane Society, where she advocated for homeless pets.

Angie joined THM in January 2020 and has focused on fostering a workplace culture where employees feel valued, supported, and inspired to grow in their hospitality careers.

Outside of work, she enjoys genealogy and has researched her family tree extensively. She is also a fan of television series, from Mad Men to Game of Thrones, The Crown, Ozark, and Succession.
